Jingjing Liu

Jingjing Liu is a seasoned scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Abalone Bio since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jingjing held the position of Principal Scientist in Strain Engineering at NAMUH from January 2019 to December 2022, where leadership was provided to enhance the production of human milk oligosaccharides and collaboration occurred on protein engineering projects. Previous experience includes postdoctoral research at both the Center for Advanced Bioenergy & Bioproducts Innovation at the University of Illinois and the Energy BioScience Institute, focusing on metabolic engineering and biofuel production. Earlier research involved the investigation of selective autophagy at the University of California, San Diego, and molecular studies of yeast at Tianjin University. Jingjing Liu earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Nankai University and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
