Miguel Saldías

Miguel Saldías currently serves as Subgerente de Seguridad de la Información (CISO) at ABASTIBLE S.A. since February 2022, following a similar role at Bupa Chile from January 2019 to February 2022, where Miguel also held the position of Jefe de Ciberseguridad. Prior to that, Miguel worked at Banco de Chile as Jefe de proyectos Ciberseguridad from November 2017 to December 2018. Their career in IT security began at FASTCO, where Miguel held positions including Jefe de Soporte, Redes y Seguridad TI and Supervisor de redes y comunicaciones from December 2011 to November 2017. Miguel also worked as Administrador de red at Empresas Feria from April 2005 to November 2011. Educationally, Miguel obtained a Diplomado en Gestion Estrategica de Ciberseguridad from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2021, a degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial from Universidad Arturo Prat (2015-2017), and an engineering degree in networks from Instituto profesional DUOCUC (2007-2010).
