Abbas Ibrahimov

Abbas Ibrahimov serves as the Chairman of the Executive Board at The International Bank of Azerbaijan, a position held since January 2017, and also holds the role of Vice President at the Azerbaijan Banking Association and a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund, both since December 2018. Prior to this, Abbas Ibrahimov was the Chairman of the Executive Board at Bank of Baku OJSC from January 2011 to December 2016 and has held various positions within the same bank since 2005. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor's degree from Ankara University, alongside pursuing CFA Level 3 candidacy at the CFA Institute.
