Ali Dadashzade has extensive work experience in the financial sector, particularly in financial management, international reporting, IFRS reporting, analytics, and lecturing. Ali began their career in 2013 at The International Bank of Azerbaijan, where they held various roles, including Head Specialist at the IFRS Reporting Division, Head of Analytics Division, Head of IFRS Reporting, Deputy Director of Finance Management Department - Head of International Reporting Division, and currently serving as the Director of the Financial Management Department. Since 2014, they have also worked as a lecturer at Azerbaijan State Economics University, teaching the International Markets module to the Special Talents Group.
Ali Dadashzade, ACCA, completed their education at several institutions. Ali obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended the Baku Private Turkish High School from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Ali Dadashzade also holds various certifications from ACCA, including P7 - Advanced Audit and Assurance, P5, P2, P3, P1 - Governance, Risk and Ethics, F5 - Performance Management, F6 - UK TAX, F7 - Financial Reporting, F8 - Audit and Assurance Intl, F1 - Acc in Bus, F2 - Management Accounting, F3 - Financial Accounting, F4 - Corp & Bus Law, and F9 - Financial Management. Ali obtained these certifications between 2013 and 2018. Recently, Ali Dadashzade pursued an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge, from 2023 to 2025.
