Ümit Tığrak

Ümit Tığrak has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the field of data science and analytics. Ümit is currently working as the Head of Data Science at ABB since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fibabanka as the Analytics CoE Manager from December 2021 to December 2022, and as the Data Science Team Leader from February 2020 to December 2021. Before joining Fibabanka, they worked as a Sr. Data Scientist at GE Aviation from August 2018 to February 2020. Ümit started their career at Turkcell as an Expert Data & Process Engineer, where they worked from February 2011 to August 2018. Ümit also has experience working as an SAP MM Consultant at Unilever from July 2007 to February 2010.

Ümit Tığrak completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi from 2003 to 2007. Ümit then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Yeditepe University, graduating between 2014 and 2016. Later, they enrolled in Özyeğin University and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, Ümit Tığrak obtained several certifications related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning from various institutions like Coursera and Udacity between 2015 and 2019.
