Sjoerd Diepen

Sjoerd Diepen is an experienced professional in research and development, currently serving as the Research and Development Team Manager at ABB since November 2017, leading a team to ensure excellence in project delivery. Previously, Sjoerd held various roles at Spirit IT b.v. from February 2011 to October 2017, including Product Development Engineer and Application Engineer, contributing to the automation products for the oil and gas industry and enhancing metering supervisory software technology. Additional experience includes positions as a Product Development Engineer at ABB, an Application Engineer at Spirit IT Sdn Bhd, and a project coordinator/software developer at Pie Medical Imaging, where Sjoerd coordinated projects for quantitative analysis of cardiovascular images. Sjoerd also participated in project management training at TNO and the Dutch Ministry of Defence, worked as a research assistant at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, and completed a traineeship at Universiteit Maastricht. Sjoerd holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
