Valentina Caorsi

Valentina Caorsi has a diverse work experience in the field of research and imaging. Valentina is currently working at Abbelight as the Head of R&D Imaging, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Application Researcher at Abbelight starting from May 2018.

Before joining Abbelight, Valentina was a Research Associate at Institut Curie - Research Centre from September 2014 to November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London from January 2009 to August 2014.

Valentina also had a fellowship at The Royal Society, where they held the position of Newton International Fellowship from January 2009 to January 2011.

Valentina Caorsi completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at the Università degli Studi di Genova from 2000 to 2004. Valentina then furthered their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from the same university, which they successfully completed from 2005 to 2008.
