Sophie Steane

Sophie Steane has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Ecommerce Manager at Abbott Lyon since November 2021. Before that, they worked at THG Ingenuity as an Ecommerce Trading Manager from April 2021 to November 2021, and as a Senior Ecommerce Trading Executive from November 2020 to March 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Strategic Partnerships Executive at RAC from July 2019 to November 2020. Sophie also has internship experience, including a virtual internship at Bright Network in July 2020, where they attended seminars, engaged in skills sessions, and completed a marketing task with positive feedback. Sophie also held positions as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Cheshire Community Foundation from October 2018 to June 2019, and as a Communications Intern at Wye Valley NHS Trust for a 5-week work-based learning placement in May and June 2018. In their role at Wye Valley NHS Trust, Sophie conducted meetings with different teams and managers to gather feedback on the communication strategy and planned future engagement events.

Sophie Steane completed their education in a chronological manner. Sophie attended St Mary's RC High School from 2009 to 2014 and obtained 10 GCSE's. After that, they attended Hereford Sixth Form College from 2014 to 2016 to pursue their A-Levels. Sophie then enrolled at the University of Chester from 2016 to 2019, where they completed a BA in Business Management (Hons).

In addition to their formal education, Sophie acquired several certifications to enhance their skills. In January 2019, they obtained the European Computer Driving License from ECDL / ICDL Certification. Subsequently, in January 2020, they completed the Microsoft Excel Training course, covering beginner to advanced levels, from Udemy. Sophie also completed the following online certifications: "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage in April 2020, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google in June 2020, and "Business, Ops and Marketing Virtual Internship" from Bright Network in July 2020. Lastly, they completed the Suicide Awareness Training provided by Zero Suicide Alliance in March 2020.
