Hugues Gervais

Hugues Gervais is a Divisional VP at Abbott. Hugues has over 20 years of experience in the industry, including positions at UFI Entrepreneurs, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble.

Gervais has always been interested in high value added industries such as medical devices and healthcare. In September 2012, they founded UFI Entrepreneurs with the objective of acquiring, managing, and developing a company operating in such an industry. To date, they have successfully evaluated and made offers on three companies with turnovers of 45 million, 25 million, and 10 million dollars.

Prior to their work at UFI Entrepreneurs, Gervais served as business director for cardiac rhythm management at Medtronic. Before that, they were European marketing manager at Johnson & Johnson. Gervais began their career as a project manager at Procter & Gamble.

Throughout their career, Gervais has demonstrated an ability to source and evaluate target companies, raise funds from private equity investors and family offices, and negotiate acquisitions. Their experience in high value industries makes him a valuable asset to Abbott.

Hugues Gervais studied at three different schools for their educational career. Hugues started with a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University. Hugues then got their MBA in General Management from INSEAD. Lastly, they got their Msc in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers. Hugues also has a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from Stanford University.
