Ishwarya Pichaimani

Ishwarya Pichaimani is currently a Hardware R&D Co-Op at Abbott's Heart Failure Division, contributing to the CardioMEMS Hardware Research and Development Team since June 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on data analysis and financial planning, and as a Junior Consultant with 180 Degrees Consulting at Georgia Tech. Ishwarya additionally worked as a Research Student at the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, developing an AI clinical decision support system for post-operative care under Dr. Cassie Mitchell. Previous roles include a Senior Analyst and Software Engineer at Capgemini, working with Penske Truck Leasing, and a Student Intern at Universiteit Twente, studying health technologies. Ishwarya holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College.
