Lyndahl Himes

Lyndahl Himes is a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Abbott since August 2021, focusing on clinical research activities. Prior experience includes serving as a Doctoral Student and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas from January 2015 to August 2021, where Lyndahl conducted research on the neural and cognitive relationships between mindfulness and mood using fMRI and behavioral techniques, culminating in a doctoral dissertation on the neural mechanisms of trait mindfulness. Additionally, Lyndahl worked as a Neuroscience Consultant for Mastermind Meditate from May 2020 to December 2020, contributing to the development of a science curriculum for mindfulness facilitator training. Lyndahl holds a Ph.D. in Cognition and Neuroscience and a Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas.
