Vivek Rao

Vivek Rao is a Senior Associate Research Fellow and Technical Director in Mechanical Engineering, leading a team of engineers focused on the development of advanced mechanical architecture for continuous glucose and other analyte sensing solutions. They have experience as a Mechanical Engineering Manager at Abbott since 2018, after serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2008 to 2016. Vivek's prior roles include Mechanical Design Engineer positions at Quantum and Magnecomp Precision Technology PCL, as well as a brief tenure as a Shock & Vibration Engineer at Seagate Technology. Vivek's educational background includes multiple degrees obtained from institutions between 1996 and 2005.
