William Matievich

William Matievich is currently the Engineering Director for Technical Management and Engineering Support at Abbott Diabetes Care, Inc, a role they have held since 2021. They previously worked at Abbott Diabetes Care as the Lead Design Engineering Manager and Systems Engineering Manager for Discrete Glucose Monitoring from 2005 to 2009. Matievich has extensive experience in engineering, having held positions at MedTech Development, LLC, Thereasense, and Pacific Consultants, as well as at Zeiss Humphrey from 1988 to 1998. They have been involved in various facets of engineering throughout their career, contributing to advancements in medical technology.
