Andrew Swensen

Andrew Swensen is a Principal Research Scientist II at AbbVie, where experience includes various projects in Neuroscience, Pain, Cystic Fibrosis, and Oncology since January 2013. Prior positions include roles at Abbott Laboratories as a Sr. Scientist II/III in the Neuroscience/Pain core group, and at Merck as a Sr. Research Biologist within a cross-functional Ion channel group. Andrew Swensen's early career includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School studying neuronal excitation mechanisms and serving as an instructor for a Neurophysiology course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Andrew Swensen holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Brandeis University and a BS in physics from Gordon College.
