Assil Omar

Assil Omar serves as the Chief Equity Officer and Vice President of Talent Acquisition at AbbVie, with a history of advancing talent acquisition and human capital strategies. Previous roles include Vice President for Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Planning, as well as Vice President for Human Capital Strategy at AbbVie. Assil has extensive experience at Unilever in Global Learning, focusing on leadership development and capability building. At Agility, Assil held positions including Director of Global Learning and Development Programs and Senior Manager of Group Leadership Development in Hong Kong. Education includes a Master’s degree in Curriculum Studies from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in History from Western University.
