Farzad Malihi

Farzad Malihi is a highly experienced research scientist with a focus on analytical development within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Principal Research Scientist I and Analytical Lead in Biologics R&D at AbbVie since May 2020, Farzad has progressed through various roles such as Senior Scientist II and Principal Research Scientist I in Analytical Research & Development. Prior to AbbVie, Farzad worked at Allergan as a Scientist in Small Molecules, Analytical Development from November 2016 to May 2020. Farzad began a career at Irvine Pharmaceutical Services, holding positions as Senior Scientist/Team Lead and Senior Scientist in Biopharmaceutical Developments and Structural Chemistry roles from March 2013 to November 2016. Farzad holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Alberta and an M.Sc. in Organic/Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tehran.
