Ishaan Bal

Ishaan Bal is a Data Science Intern at AbbVie since June 2025, contributing to the Real World Evidence team. Prior experience includes a Data Science Intern role at Pienomial, where a web scraper and transformer were developed in Rust to enhance healthcare models, and an accuracy analysis of a Systematic Literature Review tool. Ishaan also interned at Monster Bet, managing and formatting MLB data into Supabase using Python. Earlier experience includes a Data Science Intern position at Kognitic, Inc., and a Health Economics & Outcomes Research Intern role at BD, where database creation and value messaging for payers were key responsibilities. Ishaan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in June 2026.
