Julius Reyes

Julius Reyes is a highly accomplished scientist with extensive experience in organic chemistry and synthetic studies. Currently serving as Senior Scientist II at AbbVie since May 2019, Julius previously held the position of Senior Scientist I within the same company. Prior to this role, Julius was a Postdoctoral Researcher at New York University from 2018 to 2019, under the guidance of Professor Dirk Trauner, focusing on synthetic studies toward complex cytochalasans. Julius also worked as an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München from 2016 to 2018, where research involved total syntheses of various natural products. Julius holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago (2010-2015) and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley (2006-2010).
