Marlis Owen

Marlis Owen is an experienced professional in quality engineering and external manufacturing management, currently serving as an External Manufacturing Manager at AbbVie since June 2025. Previously, Marlis held the role of Quality Engineering Director at cGMP Consulting Inc. from May 2017 to June 2025, where responsibilities included consulting on industry standards, developing training courses, and directing teams for various quality-related projects in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. Additional consulting roles included significant projects with Fresenius Kabi and AbbVie, where Marlis focused on deviation investigations, project management for biologic products, and validation engineering.
