Montu Sumra

Montu Sumra has extensive experience in clinical development and medical affairs, holding key leadership positions in prominent pharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as the Clinical Development Head for Fillers and Plastics & Regenerative Medicine at AbbVie since May 2020, Montu also has a background as Executive Director of Clinical Development & Scientific Innovation at Allergan Aesthetics and as Executive Medical Director for Global Medical Head of Ophthalmology. Montu's prior roles include Executive Medical Director at Allergan, Medical Director at Chiesi UK, and Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Teva Pharmaceuticals, among others. Educationally, Montu holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and an MBChB in Medicine from The University of Manchester.
