Ruchi Srivastava

Ruchi Srivastava, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie since September 2021, with extensive experience in immunology and vaccine development. Prior to joining AbbVie, Ruchi held positions at UC Irvine as an Associate Specialist, where research focused on identifying epitopes from HSV seropositive individuals and developing protective immunity in transgenic mice. Ruchi also served as an Assistant Specialist, mentoring students while investigating HSV immunology and vaccine optimization. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at City of Hope, assessing immune pathology in flavivirus encephalitis and exploring immunotherapeutic strategies. Ruchi holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University and earned a Master's degree from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, following a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry from Isabella Thoburn College.
