Siavash Mortezavi

Siavash Mortezavi is an accomplished associate director and principal data scientist at AbbVie, leading a team focused on developing imaging tools and advancing AI strategies within R&D. Since founding VITRU.ai in 2021, Siavash has been actively engaged in entrepreneurial endeavors. Siavash's academic contributions include serving as a data science professor at the University of California, Irvine, where a wide range of topics in data science and machine learning were taught. Previous roles at notable organizations such as Galaxy.AI, UCSF Medical Center, Golden West College, and the Dyslexia Foundation, highlight extensive expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and mathematics education. Siavash holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and a Master's degree in Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Currently, Siavash is pursuing further education at Stanford University.
