Sven Malchow

Sven Malchow, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist II specializing in Immune-Oncology at AbbVie since November 2015, where advanced research in immune responses against cancer is conducted. Prior to this role, Sven was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Chicago, focusing on tumor-associated regulatory T cells and their modulation by autoimmune regulators, yielding significant publications and a research grant from the German Research Foundation. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Immunology from the University of Kiel, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Lübeck in Molecular Life Sciences and Molecular Biotechnology, respectively. Early research experience includes projects on IL-6 cytokine signaling and protein expression for NMR analysis, contributing to co-authored publications in the field of immunology.
