Terry Melim is an innovative and driven senior scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, pharmacology, immunology, and digital/computational pathology. Currently a Senior Research Scientist II at AbbVie, Terry focuses on digital image analysis and spatial transcriptomic analysis using R and Python, while also managing the histology and imaging core labs. With over 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Terry has previously worked in in vivo pharmacology at several companies including NitroMed, Inc., Alkermes, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Sciences from Merrimack College and a Master's degree in Animal Physiology from the University of New Hampshire. Terry holds a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
