Justin Salamon

Justin Salamon is the Head of Sound Design AI Research at Adobe, where they lead the Sound Design AI Group, focusing on sound generation and understanding for creative audio and video applications. Previously, they were a Senior Research Scientist at the Music and Audio Research Laboratory and held roles at New York University, where their research concentrated on Music Information Retrieval and various facets of audio and music processing. Justin earned a BA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and has contributed significantly to fields including machine learning, audiovisual understanding, and bioacoustics.
