Umesh Patel

Umesh Patel has over a decade of experience at AbbVie, advancing from Scientist I to Operations Manager since joining in May 2011. Umesh received the R&D President Award for contributions to Screening X Lab, enhancing chromatographic analysis efficiency by 5-10 times across various functions. Umesh also earned the VP's Award for leading cross-functional collaboration, developing a comprehensive materials database, and directing a non-GLP Tox team for clinical studies within tight timelines. Additionally, Umesh initiated training for AbbVie Instrument Engineers, resulting in substantial cost savings and played a pivotal role in creating a high-throughput screening lab. Prior experience includes positions at Abbott as a Lab Analyst and Lead Analyst from December 2007 to May 2011. Umesh holds a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
