Vikram Bhat

Vikram Bhat is a highly experienced Senior Scientist II in Oncology Discovery at AbbVie, where responsibilities include route development, reaction optimization, and identifying safety issues in the scale-up process. With a strong background in medicinal chemistry, Vikram has contributed significantly to delivering substantial quantities of critical intermediates. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at SRI International and California Institute of Technology, focusing on automated high-throughput instrumentation and developing innovative organic synthesis methodologies, including an atroposelective C–P coupling reaction. Vikram holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago and an integrated M.S. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
