Violeta Marin

Violeta Marin is a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie, where contributions have been made since January 2013, following the transition of Abbott Laboratories' biopharmaceutical division. Prior to this role, Violeta Marin held positions as Senior Scientist I and Senior Scientist II at Abbott from February 2008 to December 2012 and gained research experience as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago from June 2005 to February 2008. Violeta Marin also served as the Industry Co-Chair and Chair for the 2015 Bioorganic Chemistry Gordon Research Conference. Violeta Marin earned a PhD in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in Physical-Organic Chemistry from the University of Bucharest, Romania.
