Shahaf Asban

Shahaf Asban is a Quantum Applications Architect at Classiq Technologies since January 2024 and serves as an Editorial Board Member for Frontiers, focusing on Physics and Quantum Engineering & Technology. Previously, Asban was an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida from August 2022 to February 2024, where responsibilities included managing a scientific research group and presenting results at international conferences. Asban also worked as a Senior Data Scientist in Computer Vision at Autobrains Technologies from January 2023 to October 2023, conducting product-oriented research and developing algorithms. A Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine from October 2017 to August 2021, Asban specialized in quantum inference and methodologies in spectroscopy and microscopy. Earlier research experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from June 2013 to September 2017. Asban holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Technion, completed in 2017.
