Ben Siegel

Ben Siegel is an experienced journalist currently serving as Deputy Political Director, Supervising Producer, and Reporter/Producer at ABC News since June 2014. In this role, Ben has reported on Capitol Hill and the White House for various ABC News programs and platforms, covering the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns as an embed reporter and field producer. Prior to ABC News, Ben worked as a freelance reporter for Isthmus, covering local and state news and politics in Madison, including the 2014 gubernatorial race, while also contributing to the Arts section. Ben began mentoring undergraduate students as a Writing Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, providing guidance on writing-intensive courses. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts with Comprehensive Honors in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
