Cathy A. Black

Cathy A. Black currently serves as the Talent Recruitment Manager for Talent Strategy & Development at ABC News, overseeing special events and acting as a liaison between various teams for remote event planning since 2022. Concurrently, Cathy contributes to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees since October 2019. Previously, Cathy held multiple roles at CBS News from 2000 to 2022, including Senior National Network Television Producer and BBC International Network Liaison, where responsibilities included producing live and taped news segments and managing music bookings and performances. Cathy also organized diversity conventions and launched initiatives to provide on-site glam services at events. Cathy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from the University of Kentucky.
