Ellen van de Mark

Ellen Van de Mark is an accomplished Consumer Investigative Producer with extensive experience in high-pressure news environments. Since July 2015, Ellen has produced and edited lead pieces for ABC News' Good Morning America, covering a variety of critical topics including politics, foreign affairs, and justice. Ellen’s skill set includes dynamic storytelling, extensive editorial research, and effective coordination with global correspondents. Previously, Ellen contributed significantly to CNN's State of the Union as a producer, where innovative digital strategies were implemented to enhance the show’s online presence. Earlier roles at NBC News involved vital research and production responsibilities for major programs like Meet the Press and Nightly News. Ellen holds a BA in Mass Communication, Spanish, and History from Buena Vista University and has additionally studied at the Universidad de Granada.
