Alyssa Nakamoto

Alyssa Nakamoto is an accomplished producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving at ABC 10News San Diego since June 2022, where Alyssa earned an Emmy nomination for Best Evening Newscast in 2023. Prior to this role, Alyssa was a 10/11pm producer at FOX 5 San Diego, producing the top 10pm newscast in the region shortly after being promoted from weekend producer. Alyssa also has a robust background at 12 News, receiving two Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Awards for morning newscasts, and held leadership roles at THV 11 and KUSA-TV. Educationally, Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California, complemented by a minor in Sports Media Studies.
