Fiona Harlan

Fiona Harlan has extensive work experience in various scientific research roles. Fiona started their career as an Honors Project student at Roslin Institute in 2008. Fiona then worked as a Research Project Support at the Medical Research Council from 2008 to 2010. After that, Fiona joined Marker Gene Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Researcher in Biology, where they worked for a decade. In 2020, they moved to Abcam and held two positions: Senior Scientist in New Product Development and currently, Head of Assay Operation.

Fiona Harlan attended Lanark Grammar School from 1995 to 2001. However, they did not pursue a degree or field of study during their time at this institution. Later, from 2005 to 2008, Fiona Harlan enrolled at The University of Edinburgh, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences with a focus on Genetics.
