Oliver Steel

Oliver Steel started their work experience at LOL Bubble Tea in 2012 as a Tea Barista, where they were involved in setting up and establishing the business. Oliver played a role in running the shop, serving customers, and contributing to key business decisions such as product selection and marketing strategy. In 2014, Oliver joined Abcam as a Logistics Technician and has since progressed to roles such as Logistics Team Lead, Logistics Manager, Business Process Owner, Global Logistics, and Global Programme Manager, Supply Chain, Logistics & Trade Compliance. Currently, at Abcam, Oliver serves as the Business Improvement Lead, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of the department and shipping orders to international customers.

Oliver Steel obtained a Master of Biological Sciences (MBiolSci) degree in Plant Physiology from The University of Sheffield, which they attended from 2008 to 2012.
