Janice Reimer

Janice Reimer is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Lead of Structural Biology at AbCellera since September 2022, previously holding roles as Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist. Prior to AbCellera, Janice was a Postdoctoral Scholar at McGill University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California San Diego, where Janice conducted research using cryo-electron microscopy to study the regulation of molecular motors by adapter proteins. Janice earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McGill University, where research focused on the structure and function of nonribosomal peptide synthetases, resulting in multiple first-author publications in prestigious journals such as Nature and Science. Janice's early career included research roles at various institutions, contributing to a strong foundational background in molecular biology and biochemistry.
