Laura Mai

Laura Mai is an accomplished CMC Project Manager at AbCellera since April 2023, with a robust background in project management and scientific research. Previously at Natera, Mai served as a Process Development Scientist in Lab Operations, where major contributions included designing a functional NGS lab and leading a 350-sample study for clinical diagnostics. Earlier experience includes a role as Life Science Specialist at VWR, achieving significant sales growth and managing extensive customer relationships, as well as serving as Project Manager at Boreal Genomics, overseeing large-scale projects and optimizing cancer detection assays. Mai has also worked in various research positions, including roles at BOLD Forensic Laboratory and The Hallam Lab, leading to a Master's degree in Genome Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from The University of British Columbia.
