Philip E. Boulais

Philip E. Boulais is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Currently serving as Principal Scientist in Portfolio Innovation and Target Assessment at AbCellera since May 2023, Philip previously held key positions at CellCarta from January 2019, including Group Leader and Senior Principal Scientist. Philip's academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Université de Sherbrooke, where earlier experiences included research roles and internships in pharmacology and cell biology. Noteworthy contributions to research include work on signaling pathways of the Ghrelin Receptor and the role of the estrogen receptor beta in colon cancer cells, along with early career internships in biochemistry and laboratory technician roles at Imperial Tobacco Canada.
