Caitlin Prendes serves as the CMC Lead and Senior Director of Process Development at Synthekine since November 2020, where Caitlin was the first employee in process, analytical development, and formulations, successfully building a high-performance team that delivered critical results within the first year. Previously, Caitlin held leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, leading process engineering during commercial manufacturing, and at HCW Biologics, where Caitlin was a founding leader and promoted from Scientist to Manager. Caitlin's career began at Altor Bioscience Corporation, contributing significantly to the development of Anktiva, which achieved FDA approval. Caitlin's educational background includes an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Biomedical Research from the University of Oklahoma, alongside executive education at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
