Garry Weems

Garry Weems has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in clinical science and medical affairs. Garry is currently the Vice President of Clinical Science at Abcuro.

Weems began their career in 1999 as a Senior Director of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs at MGI Pharma. Garry then spent four years at Allos Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Clinical Research before moving to Arbor Pharmaceuticals in 2013 as the Medical Affairs Manager for the West Region. In 2017, Weems joined Lycera as the Executive Director of Clinical Development, and they held this position until February 2020 when they started their current role at Abcuro.

Garry Weems has a PharmD from the University of Minnesota and a degree in Pre-Pharmacy from Bethel University.

They work with Kate Courtemanche - Chief Development Officer, H. Jeffrey Wilkins, MD - Chief Medical Officer, and Janaki Subramanyam - VP, Head of Regulatory Affairs. Their manager is John Edwards, Executive Chair and Interim CEO.
