Elizabeth Olson has a diverse work experience in the field of research and psychology. Elizabeth is currently working as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Crisis Text Line since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at McLean Hospital, including Research Psychologist, Instructor, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, from 2013 to 2023. Elizabeth also served as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School from 2018 to 2023. Additionally, Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Metrowest Neuropsychology, LLC from 2016 to 2020, and as a Neuropsychologist at North Shore Neuropsychological Services in 2012. Elizabeth completed their Postdoctoral Fellowship and Predoctoral Internship in Neuropsychology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2010 and 2009 respectively. Elizabeth's work experience involves conducting research, grant writing, scientific writing, data analysis, and managing complex datasets.

Elizabeth Olson began their education at Haverford College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology at the University of Minnesota, graduating between 2004 and 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Psychologist from the State of Massachusetts in August 2012.
