Kyu Hee Hong

Kyu Hee Hong is a seasoned professional in bioanalysis, currently serving as the Director of Bioanalytical Assays at Abdera Therapeutics since October 2024. Previously, Kyu held the position of Director of Bioanalysis at Immune-Onc Therapeutics from August 2018 to October 2024, where responsibilities included designing bioanalytical strategies and overseeing method development for monoclonal antibodies and other biotherapeutics. Kyu's earlier experience includes roles at Genentech, Inc., as a Principal Scientific Researcher and Senior Research Associate, focusing on assay development for antibody-drug conjugates and other therapeutics. Kyu began a career in bioanalytics at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Scientist II and also contributed as a Research Associate at Genentech, Inc. Kyu holds a Master's Degree in Nutrition and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, both from the University of California, Davis.
