Dr Alexandros Kourakis

Dr. Alexandros Kourakis is an experienced data architect with a robust background in enterprise data management, currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Data Architecture at Abdul Latif Jameel since January 2023. Previously, Dr. Kourakis held the position of VP - Enterprise Data Architect at Mubadala, focusing on enhancing data-driven capabilities. Other roles include Senior Enterprise Data Architect at Deutsche Telekom, Lead Data Architect at Emirates NBD, and Enterprise Data Architect at Al Tayer Group, where significant contributions were made towards establishing modern data strategies and architectures. Dr. Kourakis also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Director of i-Probit, specializing in innovative data solutions. With a solid academic foundation, including a PhD in Ontology Engineering and Advanced Analytics from the University of Surrey, Dr. Kourakis has consistently demonstrated expertise in transforming data landscapes across various industries.
