Mary Sayej

Mary Sayej has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mary is currently the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation at Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Integrated International (INTEGRATED) as an Evaluation and Projects Manager from October 2020 to February 2021, and as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist from September 2017 to September 2020.

Mary also served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the School Support Program / AMIDEAST from March 2015 to February 2016, and as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant from July 2013 to February 2015. In addition, Mary worked at the Tamer Institute for Community Education as part of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and New Business Development team in 2016.

Mary has also worked as a Local Consultant for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and as a Business Consultant at Dimensions Consulting. Additionally, they gained experience as a Research Assistant at The Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) and as an intern at the World Bank's Human Resource Service Center.

Mary's early work experience includes roles as a Program Assistant for the Palestinian Youth Empowerment and Volunteerism Program at AMIDEAST from November 2011 to June 2012, and as a Program Intern for the Model Schools Network (MSN) at AMIDEAST from February 2009 to June 2011.

Mary Sayej completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and Marketing at Birzeit University from 2008 to 2012. In 2010 and 2011, they attended Bilkent University as an exchange student and completed courses in partial completion of their BA degree in Economics and Management. In 2011, they also participated in a summer course on Leadership and Civic Engagement Program at Roger Williams University. Most recently, from 2016 to 2017, Mary attended the University of Antwerp and received an Advanced Mcs Development Evaluation and Management degree in Monitoring and Evaluation.
