Mai Sharawy

Mai Sharawy has a strong background in the medical field, with experience in various roles. mai most recently served as the Medical Director AFMS at Abdulla Fouad Group since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Al Borg Medical Laboratories from October 2017 to May 2022, where they held the positions of Lab Director and Safety Specialist. From February 2012 to October 2017, Mai served as the Executive Director at Al Ansary laboratories.

Mai Sharawy has an extensive education history in the field of healthcare. mai completed their Bachelor's degree in general medicine from Kasr Al Eini Medical School, studying from 1999 to 2005. mai then pursued a fellowship in clinical pathology from the Egyptian Board of Clinical Pathology, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.

In 2015 to 2017, Mai Sharawy obtained a Diploma in infection prevention and control from AICPD. Additionally, they completed another fellowship from 2016 to 2018, this time in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management, from the Egyptian Board of Healthcare and Hospital Administration.

Furthermore, Mai Sharawy obtained the certification for Lab Management 101 from LabVine in September 2020, contributing to their knowledge and skills in laboratory management.
