Roman Zelov

Roman Zelov has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Roman is currently the CEO and Founder of Abe Health, an intellectual assistant for nutritionists, trainers, and coaches. At Abe Health, Roman applies the latest academic knowledge in life sciences to clients' data, providing personalized and actionable advice to help wellness professionals scale their reach and maximize clients' healthspan.

Prior to Abe Health, Roman was the CTO and Co-founder of Behavox from 2014 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the development and delivery of all products. As a co-founder, Roman participated in all major company activities, from fundraising to defining the overall strategy and day-to-day business operations.

From 2010 to 2014, Roman worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Oracle. Roman was involved in the development of Oracle Java Trusted Execution Environment (OJTEE) and Oracle Java Service Bridge (OJSB). In these roles, they conducted architecture and security assessments, provided technical mentoring, and designed scalable solutions for mobile carriers.

Roman's work experience also includes a position as Senior Software Developer at Sun Microsystems from 2004 to 2010. In this role, they focused on Java standard and technology development, particularly in the Java Community Process organization. Roman successfully integrated Siemens Java technology stack to Sun Microsystems platform and delivered Java technology to major customers.

Earlier in their career, Roman worked at Ecora Corporation as a Software Engineer in 2004, at EGAR Technology as a Software Developer from 2003 to 2004, at Galaktika Corporation as a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2003, and at InforTech as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2002.

Roman Zelov attended Tver State University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics.
