Amy Bowdre

Amy Bowdre, LEED AP, currently serves as the Director of Project Management and Associate Principal at Abel Design Group since July 2025. Prior to this role, Amy was the Practice Leader and Director of Project Management for Interiors at Perkins&Will from October 2023 to June 2025, and previously held the position of Senior Associate Project Manager at Abel Design Group from December 2015 to October 2023, managing commercial interior projects. Amy also brings academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at The Art Institute of Houston-North from December 2011 to December 2017. Additional experience includes roles at Ken R. Harry Associates, Inc., Ziegler Cooper Architects, IIDA Houston City Center, Identity Architects, SLI Group, Inc., and Gensler. Amy holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.
