Duncan Wong

Duncan Wong is a prominent figure in the fields of cybersecurity, blockchain, and financial technologies, currently serving as the Founder of CryptoBLK and as the Co-chair of the IEEE Hong Kong Blockchain Group. As a founding member of the Abelian Foundation and a Director at Neptune Digital Limited, Duncan Wong has established a solid presence in the blockchain ecosystem. Previously, Duncan Wong held significant roles at the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), where accomplishments included leading the Financial Technologies initiative and establishing the Security and Data Sciences technology division. With an extensive academic background, including tenure as an Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong and experience at other leading institutions, Duncan Wong's expertise encompasses information security, cryptography, and advanced technological applications. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from Northeastern University, an MPhil in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a BEng (First Class Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong.
