Jørgen Paarup

Jørgen Paarup is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at ABENA since September 2021, Jørgen previously held the position of Corporate IT Manager at SEMCO MARITIME A/S from January 2013 to September 2021. With a background that includes significant roles such as CEO of AMICOS A/S and IT Director at Cimber sterling A/S, Jørgen also managed Global IT for LM Glasfiber A/S, a leading manufacturer in the wind turbine sector. Jørgen's expertise is complemented by a solid educational foundation, including degrees in Organization and Accounting from Syddansk Universitet and Midtjysk Handelshøjskole, as well as additional finance-related studies from KU Leuven and Aarhus University.
