Dirk van Esser

Dirk Van Esser possesses extensive experience in the sports industry, currently serving as Managing Director of the Business Unit Gymnastics at ABÉO since April 2018. Prior roles include Managing Director of Belgium and member of the Board of Directors at Janssen-Fritsen from June 2007 to March 2018. Dirk also held the position of Adjunct Director at BLOSO from April 2006 to June 2007, and was President of the Flemish Sports Federation as well as Secretary General of Gymfed from January 2000 to July 2005. Earlier in their career, Dirk was General Manager of Vlaamse Turnliga from January 1987 to December 1999. Dirk Van Esser earned a Master's degree in Sports Studies from KU Leuven between September 1976 and June 1980, following education at College Hasselt from 1969 to 1976.
